Neighbourhood roastery & cafe
We roast in tiny batches a few streets away, pull every shot with patience, and bake the kind of things you want to linger over. No rush, no queue-culture — just very good coffee.
Our beans
We buy green coffee in small lots, often a single farm or washing station, and we know the people who grew it. Nothing sits in the warehouse. We roast to order on a 5 kg drum, cup every batch, and only what tastes right makes it to the bar.
Lighter than a supermarket bag, yes — but roasted to draw out the fruit and florals the farmer worked for, not to hide them.
Seasonal lots bought through relationships, not brokers — traceable to the farm.
5 kg drum, profiled by hand, logged batch by batch for consistency.
Given a few days to settle, then tasted before a single bean hits the hopper.
On the bar or bagged for you within 48 hours of the roast.
Subscriptions

Around the shop
Warm light, worn timber, and the low hum of the roaster next door.
Kind words
The flat white is the best in the quarter, full stop. And they actually remember how I take it. I plan my walk around opening time now.
Signed up for The Ritual on a whim. Every bag has been a small event — the little brew card taught me to stop scorching my pour-overs.
Quiet, unhurried, no thumping playlist. I get more writing done at their window seat than anywhere else. The almond croissant is a genuine hazard.
