What we do
Six ways we put down roots
Our programs work together — a forest needs clean water, a river needs healthy banks, and a community needs a reason to protect both.
Clean Rivers & Watersheds
From source to sea, we clear debris, restore banks and test water quality so rivers run clean for the towns and species living downstream.
Wildlife Corridors
We stitch fragmented habitats back together with hedgerows and green bridges, giving deer, pollinators and birds room to roam and recover.
Community Gardens
Empty lots become shared green spaces that grow food, cool neighborhoods and give kids their first taste of dirt under the fingernails.
Climate Education
Free field programs bring 40,000 students a year outdoors — planting, measuring and learning that the environment is something you do, not just study.
Regenerative Farming
We help farmers switch to cover crops, rotational grazing and no-till soil that stores carbon, holds water and yields more year after year.
