Hi, I'm Elise — I photograph the feeling, not just the day
For eleven years I've been lucky enough to spend couples' most important days a few steps behind them, camera in hand. I shoot in a relaxed, documentary way: no stiff posing, no shot-list marathon — just gentle guidance when you want it and plenty of room for the day to unfold on its own.
I fell for wedding photography at my sister's tiny hillside ceremony, and I've chased that same golden, unguarded light ever since. When I'm not editing by the window with a strong coffee, you'll find me hiking, pressing wildflowers, or planning the next adventure with my own partner.

Most couples book 9–18 months ahead, especially for summer Saturdays. That said, it's always worth asking about shorter notice — I keep a few dates open for last-minute celebrations and elopements.
You'll get a private online gallery of hand-edited, high-resolution images with a personal print release, so you're free to print and share them. A sneak peek arrives within 24–48 hours, and the full gallery within two weeks.
Always — some of my favourite weddings have been the ones that needed a passport. Travel within the UK is included; further afield I simply add reasonable travel and accommodation at cost. Tell me where and I'll put together a quote.
Not at all — most of my couples say the same thing. My style is documentary and relaxed, so you'll spend very little time posing. For the few portraits we do take, I offer gentle prompts rather than stiff directions, and we usually end up laughing.
A 25% retainer secures your date, with the balance due two weeks before the wedding. Simple payment plans are available on request — just ask and we'll find something comfortable.
A second shooter is included with The Celebration and The Full Story, and can be added to any collection. Two angles means we can capture both partners getting ready and never miss a reaction during the ceremony.
