What it does - honestly labelled
Every capability below, grouped by who it's for. Nothing on this page is vapourware: 'Working now' means built and working in the product today. 'Rolling out' means built behind a flag and switching on with our founding businesses - wallet passes and push reminders also depend on what each platform supports. If something isn't built, it isn't on this page.
For customers
The side your regulars see - joining, collecting and discovering.
QR join
Scan the counter code, type a name, done - joining takes about 15 seconds at the till and needs no app store.
Member card
A branded card per business, all inside one Coco Card - installable from the browser, and it still shows at the till with no signal.
Wallet passes
Apple Wallet and Google Wallet versions of the card, where the platform supports them.
Offers
Businesses a customer has joined can send offers - only with consent, and any of them can be switched off.
Birthday rewards
Share a birthday month with a business you like and it can treat you - optional, per business.
Discovery profiles
See participating independents nearby and what their programmes offer before you visit.
For staff at the till
One job at the counter: scan. Everything else defends against mistakes.
One-tap scanner
Open the scanner link, enter the staff PIN, scan, tap. Works on any phone at the till - no hardware.
Anti-mistake guards
Cooldowns and per-visit limits stop double stamps and accidental generosity before they happen.
Reversals
Wrong tap? One press undoes it, and the ledger records the correction - honest in both directions.
For owners
Your programme, your numbers, your list - with the admin kept small.
The Regulars Report
A weekly report in pounds, straight from the ledger - who joined, who came back, who's slipping. Nothing modelled, nothing inflated.
Roles & permissions
Owner, manager and staff each get exactly the access they need - the PIN for the till, the dashboard for you.
Print kit
Counter stand, window sticker and staff guide in your branding - included, with replacements at £39 if one walks off.
Offer manager
Write an offer once and it reaches your consenting members - no separate mailing-list tool to wrestle.
GDPR export & delete
Members export or delete their own data themselves, any time. For your member list, I handle exports and deletion requests for you - self-serve merchant tools are rolling out.
Service reminders
'Your boiler service is due' - scheduled nudges for trades and anyone on a service cycle, delivered as push where available.
For the network
What one shared card makes possible - without ever sharing your rewards.
Business profiles
Every participating business gets a profile Coco Card holders can find - your programme, your hours, your link.
Referrals
Members can refer a friend and both sides get rewarded - your rules decide what a referral is worth.
One identity, separate rewards
One consumer identity across the network, with every business's rewards ring-fenced as its own. Convenience for them - never a shared currency.
Cross-shop street perks
Finish a card at the cafe, unlock a bonus at the barber - neighbouring shops rewarding each other's regulars, with street challenges alongside.
Where Coco Card is today
Coco Card is a Third Coconut product, built in-house and rolling out now with founding local businesses. The card, the discovery map and the shared backend are live; the native app is built and in final testing. I won't invent a network size or paste fake logos here: if you join now you're early, you talk directly to me, and your customers get the card from day one.
